Do I need to replace both sides?

No. If only one manifold is cracked, you can replace just that side. The driver side (1041471) and passenger side (1041472) are each sold on their own.

Doing both sides in one job takes less time. Doing them separately you'd have to pull the exhaust apart twice. The kit includes both manifolds, steel OEM-style gaskets and all the fasteners.

What's included in the kit?

How long does install take?

About 5 and a half hours for the full kit, 3 hours for the passenger side and 3 hours for the driver side.

Can I install a pyrometer?

Yes. Both manifolds are pre-drilled for a pyrometer probe.

Are these emissions legal in California?

BD's 7.3L Power Stroke exhaust manifolds are pending California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) approval. Until an EO number is issued, they are not approved for sale or use on pollution-controlled vehicles in California or other states that follow CARB rules.
